The Workbook is best used in conjunction with the Study Guide (but can be used without the Study Guide). It contains 2 sections: Section 1 includes 40 'workbook pages' that each review one of the chapters in the Study Guide. in Each 'workbook page' contains 8-12 vocabulary terms, 8-12 questions in a variety of questioning styles and a map, graph, short essay, or chart project. Section 2 includes a 'Historical people' section with images of each historical figure in the VA Standards of Learning and space for students to fill out biographical information about each. . Created for: The Workbook was created for all levels but is ideal for average to low learners, and those with special reading, vocabulary, or English proficiency needs. I .. When to use: The Workbook is intended for frequent use throughout the year (typically 1-2 times per week). Pages can be completed as a class or group activity, homework assignment, or even for a quiz grade. It makes a GREAT SOL review book once completed! .....
